Once you have your domain name and hosting set up, you will need WordPress installed. Bluehost can help with that, OR we can. If you would like a custom theme installed, custom graphics, or just help getting started, we are happy to help!
THE DESIGN PROCESS:
Because of the ease of use, we design all WordPress sites using the Genesis Framework.
The following items are included in this design package:
– Assistance with domain name registration (if needed)
– Assistance with hosting set-up (if needed)
– WordPress software installation
– Genesis framework and child theme installed
Customization of WordPress/Genesis theme including:
– Custom background
– Custom header
– Custom sidebar images
– Navigation buttons (if needed)
– Favicon (if wanted)
– Post signature (if wanted)
– Basic widget set-up (this is to manage the sidebars – it’s a lot easier than it sounds)
– Matching 125×125 (or 150×150) “share this site” / banner ad
– “Share this site” button set up, with code
– Custom fonts for blog post headings
– Email support, as needed
We will go back and forth on the design until it is just right. I will be available by email as you learn this software.
